Back Home Chapter 3
"I went to Dr. Russell and she decided to run more tests because something didn't look right in my blood work. After the new tests I got
some startling news that rocked me to my very core. Ethan I'm.....pregnant." she whispered.
Ethan had tried to brace himself for that possibility but it hit him like a ton of bricks. Theresa saw the shock etched on his handsome features.
She shivered from her wet clothes. The rain was making it hard to stay warm.
Theresa teeth chattered as he brought her in. Ethan noticed she was soaked to the bone. He quickly took her to his room. He gave her a shirt
and some socks. He also gave her a fresh towel to dry off with.
Ethan changed himself and sat in front of the fireplace. Theresa came in and sat beside him. Her hair was damp and wavy. She held herself and
looked at him. "Do you hate me for this? For our baby?" she asked seriously.
"No this is a blessing. I love children it just hasn't sunken in yet. How far along are you?" he asked curiously. "A month in a half. So my first time we conceived him or her." she stated softly.
Instinctively her hand came to her still firm stomach. She smiled down lovingly. "I always wanted to be a mama Eth as you know. I love this baby
already. I won't believe my child was an accident." she stated as her tears fell.
"No he or she was fate. What should we do? I mean we're not married or even engaged. Hell we aren't even dating. I know you wouldn't marry me right now but I do want that. I love you Resa." he stated sincerely.
"You're right I don't want to be an obligation. I love you too. Let's get some sleep. We can talk more in the morning." she replied as he turned
down his electrical fireplace and took her hand.
Ethan lay in bed wrapped her in his arms and nuzzled her neck. Theresa finally felt at ease. She held his strong arms around her and smiled.
They both fell into a peaceful sleep.

Ethan woke up and she was still in his arms. He gently pushed a strand of hair out of her face. The spark of his touch woke her. Her eyes fluttered open.
Theresa saw him there and her smile just widened. She raised up and kissed him passionately. When she broke the kiss he looked surprised.
"What was that for? Not that I mind you kissing me." he stated honestly.
"It was for being you. You being you Ethan. I love you so very much. I always have and I always will. You helped me conceive this blessing. You
just mean so much to me." she replied sincerely as he smiled.
"As much as I mean to you Resa you mean just as much to me if not more. You brought me to life. Saved me from becoming something I disgusted. Now you love me and are the mother of my child.
Resa baby I love you and I don't want to wait too long. I've spent five long years denying my feelings and I won't do it any longer. I'm marrying
as you have our child. So will you marry me?" he asked sincerely.
"Yes the day I have our baby we will get married. Now come here." she growled playfully as she pulled him down on her. She kissed him
passionately. He slipped off her clothes and his.
They started making hot, passionate, mind shattering, earth shaking love. It had been a month and they needed to reach their own personal paradise. They didn't even noticed how time flew.

The next afternoon Whitney and Chad got worried and headed over to Ethan's place. Neither him or Theresa had been seen. They thought about how neither of them ever skips out with calling. They had plans yesterday.
They got there and Whitney gasped. "Oh my goodness Chad the door's wide open. Something could have happened to him." she stated as Chad looked horrified by that scenario.
Chad had just found his family two years ago. His little brother/best friend was the only person who kept him sane during the paternity issue.
He couldn't lose his brother. He wouldn't.
"I'll be damned if I lose my best friend, my little brother. No chance in hell. Whitney baby stay out here I don't want anything happening to you."
he stated seriously as she shook her head defiantly.
"No Ethan's my brother in law and I love him too. I know how much he means to you. And what if Tess is in there?! No way you're going in
alone. We promised we'd always get through. Right?" she asked knowing she trapped him.
"Right." he relented. Whitney was stubborn to a fault and though he loved that quality it also irritated the hell out of him. They slowly made
their way into the house. They heard a noise coming from the bedroom.
Chad opened the door and Whitney gasped. "Oh my god....."
