Unknown Passions: Fan Fiction

The Hunt Chapter 4

Hey again. Due to the fact I lack any creativity
on this paticular one, I'm just going to tell you
where to go this time. I know it's not as exciting,
but honestly, I figured I'd make at least one of
these incrediblly simple.

Go to the bridal shop. Now I won't make it that
easy by telling you what this represents, but
I'm also not so sure you'll think of it right away,
but I guarntee you'll love it anyway.
-Ethan

'What?' he mind asked.

"What does the bridal shop have anything to do with our restlionship?"

Her mind scattered into seprate parts searching for the right answer most likely located in the back of her head.

Still, left without an answer, she just decided to go to the bridal shop.

I might as well as find out there.

But she still felt terrible for not being able to remember what type of signifance the bridal shop held.

To her it never mattered anyway, considering her dress would be custom made, so what did it matter.

Anyway, she'd eventually find out.

With that final though she quickly scampered towards the bridal shop.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was Valentines Day.
And she was stuck working in a bridal shop.
Lifes details loved mocking her, and her inabality to find a long-term man, that probably didn't exist.
The only visitor she'd had the entire time was a guy, another one of lifes jokes at her expense, who was actually in a long-term restlionship.
That and he was hot.
She could see it up in heaven now. All of then rolling all over the floor woth laughter.
It wasn't funny!
But she would admit this Theresa girl was lucky.
That's right. He told her not to read the note or open the gift.
She only opened the note.
That's just wrong to open somebody elses gift.
He also said she'd come in, frantically most likely, and search the shop first.
Let her search.
He also said she would eventually come to the counter. Asking for something. Anything.
Give it to her when she figures out you have it.
And then, just as suspected a girl raced into the shop.
And now, based on looks alone, the lonley shopclerk figured out why the handsome guy wanted a long-term restlionship with the girl. It seemed as if she wanted it too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And the search began.

She had always been an expert shopper, finding what she wanted whenever she needed it, but now it was different.

How?

It just was. Her mind was in such a panic.

And the search cointunied.

On and on. Dress by dress. Accessory by accessory.

Eventually she just gave up.

'Should I ask?' her mind questioned.

'No. This is just Ethan and me. Yes, how else would I know what's going on here!' conflict plauged her head.

'Shut up and just ask.' the thing Whitney was guartneed to say became her soultion.

With that she ventured over to the counter towards the prep, obvisouly mad about something.

"Execuse me, did a man come in here earlier today leaving something?" Theresa asked in her calmest voice.

"Here you are." a very obvosouly fake voice came flowing through the girl's mouth, as she offered a package and note.

"Thank you." Theresa kindly replied before snatching her gifts, and pratically skipping out of the shop.

"Can you say greedy." the clerk remarked.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
My angel without wings, my angel.
I wish you could see all that you mean to me, but i can never find the words to tell you.
I wish I could say I wrote that, but in all honesty, it's a few
lyrics to a friend of mines favorite song. And favorite band,
Unwritten Law. They describe how a I feel though. So techinally
that's considered speaking from the heart.
Well I'm assuming you haven't figured out the whole bridal shop thing yet,
have you? Remember that time when I entered that room and you were
wearing 'her' dress. Wedding dress to be exact. I knew it was you. But you were
just so...beautiful. the only reason I said her name involed plausible deniabality
issues. You don't know how much I wanted to stay there though.
Anyway I assume you'll find the gift highly intresting, if you haven't already opened it.
For the next location, I'll say it was the first time I was able to see culture and the world through your eyes.
- Ethan
'Culture?' Theresa silntly questioned. 'What is considered culture again anyway?'
Thousands of ideas raced through her head, and she was still unable to understand the culture statement.
Just then she thought pink, for some strange, unknown reason.
'Pink. Pink tutu. People in pink tutus jumping up and down and all around.'
"The ballet." a smile lit up her face, along with the laughter that mocked her thought process.
Normally she would have ran there, but two things were stopping her at the moment.
First, was the fact that she wasn't dressed. The second one involved that gift laying next to her on the grond.
Removing the tissue paper from the large bag, she saw a small item lay inside, or what seemed to be small, a mixed CD. Complete with a playlist that ranged from Tenicious D to Sarah McGlaughen.
After inspecting her latest gift she placed all of her previous ones in the large bag.
"Screw appearance." she told herself before making her way to the ballet, which was actually ony around 4 blocks away.
Techinally I already added a disclaimer in the story, but the song I mentioned earlier is called You're My Angel by Unwritten Law.
