Unknown Passions: Fan Fiction

Tour De Ship

Theresa followed Fox as he proceeded to a brass door knob on a white metal door on the ships upper first class deck, watching as he turned the knob and ushered her in, politely before him. Closing the door, he began to speak:
"You put up a good fight. But you let yourself off guard and that's when she almost overthrew you. If I hadn't been there she could have really done some damage."
"You did save me," Theresa said, smiling, as they stepped into a small room made of wooden oak, with two fine finished doors other than the one that led outside standing in front of them. "My hero..." Theresa finished, and with that she casually kissed him on the cheek, causing a broad grin to spread across his face and a little blush in his cheeks.
Fox quickly straightened his face and stood straight up. "Ahem. Now, as for the fighting..."
"What?" Theresa asked, leaning over.
"Well, I figure if she or anyone else tries to take you down like that again, you'll need to know how to offend yourself and be alert. Sooooo..."
Fox headed to the door on the left, turning the knob, and took Theresa hand and pulled her, (tenderly) inside of the room with him. It was an amazing room. Columns stood here and there across it holding up the large cieling. The floor was made of fine tiles, and a long row of windows stood to the left of the long room. Upon that, many fine exercising machines were scattered across the corners of the room. And in one corner, was a punching bag. Beside that, a map of the ship. This was the gymnasium.
"Now why haven't I been here?" Theresa said, looking at Fox as she continued to roll her eyes across the room marveling it's grandeur.
"Because," Fox started "your not a third class guy who wants to know what it's like in first class, for one, and for another, anyone as pretty as you doesn't need exercise." He finished, chuckling.
"Thanks." Theresa replied smiling and staring at him.
"Now," Fox began, "for the training. Come over here."
Fox gestured towards the punching bag, and they walked over to it. "Okay, stand in front of me. Here..." He grabbed Theresa's arms and pulled her over in front of him, and then put his hands around her hands. "Ball your fists up."
Theresa balled her fists up, as Fox moved her into a fighting stance position. "Fox, I uh..."
"Punch it!" Fox said.
"What?" Theresa said, turning toward her a akward expression on her face.
"Just do it. Punch it!"
Theresa pulled her arm back, then quickly, punched the bag, making it fly backwards.
"Good shot! You did i-" Fox began to exclaim, but then...
WHAM! BAM! The bag came swinging back, knocking Fox and Theresa to the floor.
"Oww." Fox said, rubbing his whacked head. "Yeah, umm, next time you hit it THAT hard, try moving out of the way."
Theresa laughed at him, and after a few more tries of swinging, they retired.
"Uh, thirsty?" Fox asked.
"A bit." Theresa replied.
"Ah," Fox smiled "Then the Cafe Perisian is just the place. Heh heh. Follow me."
They left the gymnasium, walked into the other door in the small room, found them selfs at the very top of the stair way that was the Grand Staircase. Walked down two sets of stairs, headed down a corridor, finding themselves at the Aft Grandstaircase, and then walked into a door.
The door led into the Cafe Perisian, a white room with tables lined in a row down the long room with large windows to look out at the ocean. The room was empty, just them and a cofee machine. Apparently, it wasn't open for selling the normal cafe items. Just for the ones riding the ship to have a place to get cofee, right now anyway.
"Sit down." Fox gestured to a table in the far corner, helping Theresa to be seated. "Now, what kind of coffee for you?"
"Doesn't matter. Like them all." Theresa smiled.
"Fox sure is polite," she thought, smiling as he walked over to get her some coffee.
