Unknown Passions: Fan Fiction

Where You Are Chapter 3

Theresa looked up at her sister.

She was smiling.

As if she never did anything wrong.

Liar.

She wanted to strangle her.

Some might call that phystocitic.

Others, with better judgment, would call her smart.

But nobody dared to touch the eldest daughter of the great Ail.

It was just wrong.

Of coarse Theresa sinned, just not as cruelly as her sister.

“Hello Theresa.” Gwen looked away from the male servant after giving him a wink.

“Good afternoon Gwen.” Theresa made sure to sit more than an arms length away.

“How are you today?” Gwen asked.

“Fine. How was the expedition?” Theresa wanted to be civil.

“Amazing. I traveled to some beautiful cities. In Tyre I bought so much clothing…” Theresa now knew Gwen would be talking to herself for a long time.

The one thing she never got tired of talking about was herself.

Then she looked down at her food.

She was tuning her sister out at the moment, then she heard something that made her ears perk up.

“So how is Noah?” Gwen smiled mischievously.
Noah was killed while Gwen was away.

That's one reason why she was never suspected. But Theresa knew that she set it up. Everything.

Father just went along with her plan, because he was happy to see one of his girls were like him.

“You know what happened Gwen.” Theresa's tone was very hostile.

“No, I don't.” she replied in that fake clueless voice.

“Yes, you do.” Theresa gave her a cold stare.

“No what happened?” Gwen looked totally innocent.

“He died.” Theresa quietly mumbled.

“He what?” Gwen was still smiling.

“He died.” Her voice rose a bit.

“What?” still had the grin.

“He died!” Theresa yelled out. “He was at the market, and someone shot him.” She started
to sob.

Theresa then ran out of the room.

Away from her sisters still smiling face.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was like a scene from out of Aladdin.
Minus the palace.
He must be in the palace.
This place was amazing.
Then he remembered.
Every palace had those guards.
Big huge guards, with big curved swords.
Now Ethan was scared.
But those were just old myths, and this was a dream.
A dream.
That's it.
A very realistic dream.
All that mattered was this was a dream.
A freaky dream.
Then he heard footsteps down the hallway.
Ethan grabbed his book bag, ran behind the dresser.
Just then the door flew open, only to reveal the most beautiful person he had ever seen.
Even with tears in her eyes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Theresa ran to her bed.

How could Gwen do that?

How could she be so cruel?

Ruthless?

To even mention Noah.

Especially when she knew the truth.

Theresa looked up from her pillow out her window.

“This place is a prison.” She quietly mumbled through her tears.

It was true.

Today was the first time in months she was allowed to go outside the palace gates.

Her family was that hated.

Although, she didn't know what they thought of her.

“Permission to enter.” A voice came from the opposite side of the door.

“Come in Fathimah.” Theresa instructed.

“Princess, your mother has instructed you to change for a social this evening.” The frightened servant carried the message.

“Tell her I am ill.” Theresa shot back in a hostile tone.

“Very well.” The servant dared not mess with her. Even though Theresa was the nicest.

As soon as Fathimah left Theresa retreated back to her bed.

This time she was silent.

Deep in thought.

Then she heard movement.

Breath.

Not hers.

Someone else's.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ethan noticed it was completely silent.
She was silent.
Something was wrong.
But that didn't matter right now.
He had to get out.
Then he studied her face.
She knew he was there.
And he couldn't run.
It was impossible.
There was no escape.
She got up.
She was beautiful.
She walked towards him.
She was glowing.
She looked for him.
She was gorgeous.
Now this was it.
She saw him.
