Unknown Passions: Fan Fiction

Torment Chapter 2

Luis couldn't believe his sister was doing this.

All for him.

She had already lost so much.

And continued to stick with the plan.

All for him.

She was so kind.

Yet got nothing in return.

Especially when she deserved something better than what she had.

He knew that money and power meant nothing to her.

He also knew she was already in over her head.

She was in a house where she was not welcome.

Where she was outnumbered.

But she still went with it.

For him.

She was the best sister he ever knew.

And she always would be.

"Ethan what's up my man." Chad tried to get him all happy again without mentioning Theresa.

"Nothing." Ethan looked down at his coffee.

"Dude you have to get out of this depression." Chad stressed.

"I'm not depressed." Ethan was still staring at the white cream blend with the dark mixture.

"And this is you in a happy state of mind." Chad smiled.

"Right now it is." Ethan spoke a bit louder.

"Which means you need help. Ethan depression is serious, I would know." Chad stated to him.

"Chad how would you know depression?" Ethan asked.

"Back in LA, on the streets, my best friend, MY BEST FRIEND ETHAN, always longed for accpenctance from his foster parents. But instead of giving him any type of love, they ignored him. I mean they didn't even give him any type of love. Not even hate. I tried so hard to get through to him, but he was unreachable. He sunk into a deep depression. Before I knew it he was gone. He hung himself." Chad stopped.

Ethan could see the depths of what Chad went through. He could see it in his eyes.

The tears swelling in his eyes.

The concern he showed.

Chad just wanted things to be perfect.

The way they should, but never would be.

"I'm sorry." Ethan looked back down at his coffee. "But I'm not suicidal. I'm a lost cause, but I'm not suicidal." he looked back up at his friend one last time, before rising from his seat.

He had to get out of there.

Before Chad signed him up for a shrink.

"Ethan wait!" Chad yelled for him.

The tiny bell above the door rang.

Ethan was gone.

And there was only one person who could save him.

In both senses of the word.

Theresa.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She had conformation.
The go ahead.
Now how to go ahead?
Where to start?
Without being noticed.
Without being dected.
Without being caught.
"I don't even know if that's possible." Theresa mumbled quietly to herself.
"If what's possible." Jenny, the new maid, came up to her.
"Nothing." Theresa replied.
Strange.
If Ivy had heard Jenny intrude, she would have immediately terminated her.
As would Rebecca.
But not her.
The girl.
According to Rebecca and Ivy, a minor obstacle.
Well she was now there biggest obstacle.
Theresa started to remember how and when she found out she won the misery.
Pain.
Suffering.
Torment.
**flashback**
Theresa overlooked a snickering Icy and Becky, as she called them.
They were in the office fighting over who was Mrs. Crane.
They didn't even notice her in the background about to burst out with laughter.
It was hilarious, until Harper approached her, and muttered four little words.
Four little words that would affect her life forever.
Strangely enough they were not 'we need to talk.'
They were 'you are Mrs. Crane.'
"WHAT!!!" and outraged Ivy stopped her fight with Rebecca. "HER!!!"
**end of flashback**
But now was not the time to sit around and laugh at Ivy and Rebecca.
It was too easy.
She would save laughing at them for later.
With Jenny.
The newest maid.
Who she loved.
And who the tramp twins would hate.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ethan observed the young family out of the corner of his eye.

One child.

Two parents.

All in love.

He should have that now.

He should have Theresa.

That baby should be his.

A lot of things should still be his.

But they weren't.

They were exactly opposite of what he wanted.

He wanted love.

Accpenctance.

Very few people gave him that.

Theresa use to be one of those few.

But she no longer was.

Was she?

Did she still have power over him?

Did she still love him?

Did he still love her?

Would they still have hope?

Was the baby his?

The doctors in this town weren't exactly known for testing.

There was only one doctor in this town!

Harmony was one screwed up place.

It was also the one place that he wanted to be, and the one place he couldn't be.
