Unknown Passions: Fan Fiction

Where You Are Chapter 2

“What happened? Where am I?” Ethan awoke to a black setting.

Completely black.

Pitch dark.

Not even enough light for a shadow.

“You are here for now.” A loud voice roared over him.

“Where is here?” Ethan screamed out.

“Where I am.” The voice got stronger.

“Why am I here?” he wanted out.

“For protection. You will be transported somewhere else eventually.” The voice drifted to the opposite side of the room.

“What if I don't want to?” Ethan yelled.

“You have no choice.” It commanded.

“I want to see you.” Ethan went on.

“I have no shape.” The voice replied.

“Then how are you real?” Ethan's voice projected.

“I am.” The voice was calm.

“Then where am I going?” Ethan demanded.

“Someplace where she can't find you.” The voice was still calm.

Before Ethan could respond it was gone.

Though he couldn't see it he knew it.

But so many unanswered questions remained.

How could it be gone?

Then he felt that same feeling as before.

Ethan slowly opened his eyes.

There was an extreme heat.

He could feel it.

He lifted his head.

As he looked around he saw jewels.

Gold.

Colorful drapes covered the walls.

Was he in the Crane mansion?

That was stupid.

Why would he be?

The sun stared to shine straight in his face.

He got up to close the window.

He suddenly fell back.

He must have really taken one to the head.

That was a major dizzy spell.

Ethan lifted his head again.

As he rose to his feet he stared out the window.

He definitely wasn't in Harmony anymore, much less in the Crane mansion.

“Good day fair princess.” Was heard around as the whole street bowed in her presence.

She hated all this attention.

It was wonderful at first, but after a while it became quite irritating.

She finally arrived at the palace gates.

Unfortunately her older sister had traveled home today.

She was back from expidation.

Something she shall do later on.

Until then she had to put up with her sisters taunting.

The taunting never ceased.

Some were basic, some were not.

Like how she was to be queen.

How she had a man.

How she was mothers and fathers favorite.

Theresa could care less.

She knew her sister didn't even love the man she was with.

She was only wed for money.

Theresa never really wanted to be queen.

She wanted the royal blood.

Nothing more.

Her mother and father were cold.

They never loved anyone.

Not even their own children.

But her sister couldn't handle that fact.

It was truly sad how her sister put herself in the same dream world she once had.

But she no longer had that side of her.

It all went away.

Years ago.

When he died.

When he was murdered.

By father's henchmen.

Which was set up by her sister.

And her father.

Because she was jealous

Because he had no money.

No job.

She hated this world.

She hated this life.

If it wasn't for this life she would be in the arms of the man she loved.

Noah.

“Princess, your sister Gwen is here.” The help announced.

“Here we go.” Theresa sighed as she walked into the room where Gwen was sitting.
