Unknown Passions: Fan Fiction

Who Knew Chapter 3

Justin, Kate, Ruth, and Theresa walked through the door.

They were immeditally surrounded by people.

“Hey Resa, I'm gonna go get some beer.”

“Kool.” Theresa replied as Justin snuck out.

“Wanna dance?” some annoying frat guy walked up to her.

She figured it was no big deal.

“Sure.” Theresa yelled over the music.

The two ventured out to the dance floor.

Kay and Breck entered the party.

It was already in full swing.

Her friends decided to stay in.

Their loss.

This was a collage party.

“Breck, who's the girl?” she heard a guy call from across the room.

They must have been friends.

Breck started to pull her around the dancing crowd.

Even dancing was different in collage.

“Justin, this is Kay.” He pointed her out.

“Hey.” She tried to sound cool

“Hey.” Justin replied.

Just then some girl came up to them staggering off the dance floor.

“Resa, get over here.” The two guys yelled out for her.

Where had she last heard the name Resa?

Just then a goregeous brunette, fighting off druken guys, walked up them.

“I hate frat parties.” She stated coldly.

“Resa, this is Kay.” Breck spoke up.

She smiled, and turned her attention to the girl, suddenly Theresa felt the color from her face disappear.

It couldn't be.

Kay Bennett.

From Harmony.

But she couldn't act sucpious.

“Hey, I'm Resa.” She used her nickname.

She had to think quick.

“Justin, let's go dance.” She smiled.

“Sure.” He shrugged as they headed off to the dance floor.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kay knew she had seen that girl somewhere before.
There was something about her.
Something familiar.
Then it hit her like a ton of bricks.
“Breck, does Resa stand for Theresa?” Kay looked up at him.
“Yeah, how'd you know that?” he smiled down at her.
“I have another friend named Theresa.” She looked over at the smiling collage student.
Theresa's smile was never that bright in Harmony.
Here she was happy.
It was obvisous.
But what was she going to do.
Tell Miguel.
Or leave her here.
Where she ran to.
A good collage.
A party life.
Maybe this information would remain confidential.
Only something she knew.
Great.
Another secret to hide.
But this wasn't really a bad secret.
It was a good one.
She was safe.
Protected.
Freed.
What would she do?
